‘Netflix’ May 2024 Releases: Netflix seems to be fully packed up with entertainment for its May month calendar. From Penelope Featherington & Colin Bridgerton entering into a unique arrangement to J.Lo fighting the evil artificial intelligence, from roasting of an NFL legend to retelling the invention of the Pop Tart, from live comedy events of LA to a lot more are some of the trending shows that’s going to stream this May on Netflix. Jerry Seinfeld is all set to make his directorial debut with Unfrosted on 3rd May.

Netflix has decided to celebrate May month with comedy season by streaming multiple live comedy shows from a Joke Fest in LA. The 6 episode multi-night event of John Mulaney has its special formal launching on 3rd May 2024, with additional episodes streaming afterwards.

After the start of this comedy season, Netflix is ready to launch its GROAT series (Greatest Roasts of All Time) starting off with Tom Brady as the first guest. Although he is an executive producer on the series, he might experience some tough time getting roasted on stage. Along with Brady, GROAT executive producers include Casey Patterson, Jeff Ross & Carol Donovan.

After this is coming up a film which is directed by Mean Girls & Freaky Friday filmmakers. Brooke Shields & Benjamin Bratt will be in the lead role of this rom-com-based movie that debuts on Netflix on 9th May 2024. The story of the film revolves around Emma i.e. Miranda Cosgrove, who tries to shock her mom – Lana (Shields) by informing her that she is getting married in Thailand in about a month. But the story unfolds deeper when Lana learns that the father of the groom is Will i.e. Bratt, a cad who broke her heart years ago. Sounds a bit awkward right? Let’s see what turns and twists this movie holds within it.

Now if we talk about the most hyped show of this month, then it’s the first part of season 3 of Bridgerton. A British period drama, produced by Shonda Rhimes Shondaland, which probably has the potential to become the new talks again. Season 3 focuses on Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton’s characters Penelope and Colin who plans to team up together to find Penelope a husband.

Bridgerton‘s Season 3 will be released on Netflix in two parts in which, Part 1 premieres on 13th May whereas Part 2 streams on June 13th.

This month, Netflix even includes a big-budget sci-fi film named Atlas. A film that revolves around the story of Atlas Shepherd, a data analyst who faces uncommon issues with AI. This film has been directed by Brad Peyton. The main casts of the film are the legendary Mark Strong along with Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, Gregory James Cohan, Lana Parrilla and Abraham Popoola.
