LEO Movie Review: Thalapathy Vijay starrer “LEO” has now been released on the big screens. The film is one of the most awaited films of the year, and here is a detailed review of the film.
The film is approximately 160 minutes long and is available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and several other dubbed versions worldwide. The film is suitable for watching with family and kids.
The story of the film revolves around Parthi, who owns a coffee shop in Himachal. One day, he kills a few goons at his coffee shop while saving his daughter from them, and from that day on, his life completely changes. With a big threat to his family, will he be able to save them? To find out, you need to watch the whole film on the big screen near you.

The story and screenplay of the film are not up to par. The film lacks in many aspects, and in the second half, it just feels like a routine South Indian film. Vijay tries to bring charm to the film, but he fails due to the routine story. The car action sequence is the best thing in the whole film. The sequence is sharp, and the camera work is mind-blowing. The much-talked-about hyena sequence was also a flop.
This film is sure to act as a dent in the LCU. Remove Thalapathy Vijay from the film, and it will fall flat. I was expecting some spine-chilling, shocking sequences in the middle of the film, but there was nothing of the sort. “Kaithi” and “Vikram” were just too good, and this is going to be the weakest film in LCU for sure.
The background music (BGM) work of the film is great, but once again, the film doesn’t meet the expectations. The Vikram BGM at the end of the film still stands out as better than all. There is some good work in BGM in the middle, but the expectations were quite high, and this film falls short.
I am giving the film 2.5 out of 5 stars. The film is just another routine South Indian film served in the name of Vikram, Kaithi, and LCU. The upcoming films in this series will be interesting to watch, but Vijay’s films do not live up to the hype.
