John Oliver Asks For Supreme Court Justice Thomas Clarence’s Resignation Season 11 episode 1: It had just been a couple of months since we bid farewell to John Oliver after Season 10 of the Award-Winning Variety Show ended but he’s back and back with a nuclear bomb-level explosion which is going to be audible to the masses but also to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Yes, John has started off the Season with a bang which should not come off as a surprise to the fans of the show.

John Oliver Season 11 Episode 1 Recap

This brings us to what the heck did he actually do and why is this so consequential to even mention. Well, as we know that after RBG died, the Supreme Court has been slowly losing the approval rating of the people of the United States dropping to mere 18% and while we’re pretty sure this is related to the Supreme Court overriding the laws that protect the fundamental rights for people.

Well, it started with John showing Clarence Thomas who servers the Supreme Court of the United States as one of Judges and after his appointment in 1991, what has he done but then moving to how he has been living his life, as lavishly as taking 38 destination vacations , 26 private jet flights, additional 8 by helicopter, 12 VIP passes and a lot more which combined up to millions of dollars all of which was done not on his six figure salary of a Supreme Court Judge but by a group of 4 Billionaire Moguls who say that they’re great friends with him and have done things that they would do for anyone dear to them but there’s a conflict of interest there because all of them seem to be having cases against them in the Supreme Court.

John also showed how Clarence Thomas is so in awe of his 40 foot motor coach which he had bought it out on loan after borrowing it from a wealthy friend but after 9 years, the loan seemed to have been forgiven by his wealthy friend.

Now, What Did John Do?

The story has a previous interview of Clarence Thomas in the 80s saying that he wants to be rich which means more than a few hundred thousand dollars a year. However, he has also expressed his views on the Judge’s salary and how it’s not worth it.

Now, his current life is what someone would say is luxurious and he’s quite happy with it as well but that’s because of the Billionaires paying for it and it seems that they (the Billionaires) seem to be doing that to keep him in the Supreme Court because otherwise he would just resign since the job isn’t worth it. So, this is what John proposed to Clarence Thomas.

John came up with a contract that states that Thomas Clarence will receive $1 million for life if he agrees to leave the Supreme Court immediately and never come back. However, there is a time limit to it and he needs to respond to this within 30 days. It is also worth noting that HBO is not putting up the money for this and John will be on the hook, personally.

But he didn’t only stop there! Remember Thomas’s love for Motor Coaches? Well, John is also going to give him a Prevost Marathon Motor Coach which costs a whopping $2.4 million.

Now, isn’t that a pretty good deal?

My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
