Crossbow Project Jack Ryan Season 3: In season 3, we see Jack Ryan get tips from his own friend named Zoya, who tells him that Russia is going to start the Sokol project again, in which we see Jack start his next mission to stop that project, where there are plans to establish nuclear weapons in Russian hands to show how powerful and able they are to destroy other countries.
When investigating this project, Jack discovers that it is not officially sanctioned by the Russian government and learns that it was started by a group of people that includes the new Russian defense minister, the Czech president’s father, and the security chief, with plans to restore power to the Soviet Union and complete their mission.
Their plan is working properly, and they intend to officially name it “Crossbow,” which is more explosive than even a nucleus missile and capable of destroying targets without entering their radar. During that, Ryan finds that even they get orders from the Russian government without their permission.
We can see that Petr Kovac established plans to bring this project to fruition in 1969 after they executed him because they didn’t want to continue this project.
