This Noir series focused on the travels of a young heroine, Miu who is seeking justice and revenge in Copenhagen’s criminal underworld, where she meets her nemesis, Rakel and they get on an odyssey through nature, so that they change their past, which ultimately clear their future, when these 2 women discover that they are not alone, but many other also.
The series stars Lola Corfixen and Zlatko Buric along with cast includes Andreas Lykke Jørgensen, Jason Hendil-Forssell, Li Ii Zhang, Dragana Milutinovic, Mikael Bertelsen and Mads Brügger. Copenhagen Cowboy” looks as stunning, as Nicolas Winding Refn’s previous work, with cinematographer Magnus Nordenhof Jonck, production designer Gitte Mallingand, music by Cliff Martinez, Peter Peter, Peter Kyed, and Julian Winding, and written by Sara Isabella Jonsson, Johanne Algren, and Nicolas Winding Refn himself.
This Netflix original Noir Series will debut at the Venice Film Festival on 9 September before being available globally on Netflix, which release date has yet to be announced.
