Bahut Hua Samman Review: Disney+Hotstar VIP is back with a new original film titled Bahut Hua Samman. The comic satire movie is directed by Ashish Shukla. The movie has been written by Avinash Singh and Vijay Narayan Verma serving as the co-writer. Bahut Hua Samman has been produced by Yoodlee Films, Here in the post, I am going to review the movie, I would also talk about the Plot Performances and other highlights of the movie.
The movie has a brilliant star cast including Raghav Juyal, Sanjay Mishra, Abhishek Chauhan, Ram Kapoor, Nidhi Singh, Namit Das, and Flora Saini, the trailer was funny and promising, let’s jump to the detailed review.

Plot
The storyline of the movie revolves around two friends who are in an engineering college and are waiting for their placements but unfortunately they flunk out. The duo frustrated with their failures and even more frustrated with the success of their juniors seek out to get a decent job but fail miserably and blames the government for not having a decent job for a college pass out.
Bony and Fundo decide that they should do something big to earn money and settle afterward so so at one night they meet a Baba who advises them to rob a bank. The trio then decides to rob a bank by carefully planning their moves. But when they enter the bank secretly they realize that their plan has failed and the bank has already been robbed by other people and thus police captures them.
Raju and Bhola who stole the money are local goons to run away with the money whose amount is roughly 2 to 3 crores. Since the money belongs to a politician who has taken it from a God-man, the politician decides to hire an assassin to retrieve the money. The assassin starts killing everyone who he doubts having a connection to the money. Eventually, the story pans out very beautiful and gives a beautiful message which is to keep questioning the government and not be a blind follower for any person.
Screenplay and Direction
Bahut Hua Samman stars off shakily in the first half but eventually picks up from the integral the first 15 to 20 minutes of the film are lousy but after 30 minutes the movie becomes interesting and funny at the same time. If you can there’s a movie for the first 30 minutes then you will not be disappointed.
the storyline of the film is pretty brilliant with several pop culture references and political jokes which are fresh and are spread throughout the movie. Not once you will feel offended if you have the guts to take a joke. The direction by Ashish Shukla is praiseworthy as he too likes the script starts off shakily but then goes on to do a good job. Although the movie feels a bit dragged in places but it still is an enjoyable affair.
Performances
Sanjay Mishra is the star of the movie as the single handedly carries the film from start to the beginning his role as baba is very funny and entertaining. Raghav Juyal has done a great job playing a young guy from Varanasi and capturing the essence of that place. Debutant Abhishek Chaudhary shines bright as he too has done a brilliant job.
Ram Kapoor looks deadly as the cold blooded assassin and brings the screen on fire.
Nidhi Singh deserves special mention here as she too is outstanding. Rest all the cast have very well.
Final Words
The movie which starts off as a goof up comedy film, goes on and takes the shape of something unexpectedly good. The movie tries to take in the current issues going on in the country with its political jokes and humor and gives a beautiful message to be a comrade and not be a sheep. The movie says that if you want to change the nation, keep asking questions and do not believe everything that one feeds you. Overall the movie is an enjoyable affair and one should definitely watch the film.
