In response to one of his Facebook fans and now the filmmaker recently expressed his desire to work on a project with Tamil superstar Vijay.
On the previous day, Alphonse Puthren came to his official Facebook page to post the official lyric video titled ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ from the upcoming Vijay-Nelson Dilipkumar film ‘Beast.’ In the comments section, one of the fans asked Alphonse Puthren to shoot a love tale with Thalapathy Vijay, and the director responded saying “Thalapathy was the first to phone me from Tamil Nadu following the release of ‘Premam,’ through his manager and producer Jagadeesh.” I once met Thalapathy Vijay sir in person. I’m hoping he’ll contact me one day to do a film. “I’m waiting.”
‘Premam,’ Alphonse Puthren’s maiden directorial endeavour, connected with the audience due to its execution-style and interesting narrative, as well as the outstanding performances of the lead actors Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, and Lalu Alex. in his pipeline, the filmmaker has Meanwhile, his forthcoming film ‘Gold,’ starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara. He concluded the production on December 4, 2021. According to the filmmaker, ‘Gold’ will be an entirely different film than ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam,’ with 2-3 songs, humour, and some nice characters.
‘Gold’ will also be Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first full-fledged feature film with Nayanthara, despite the fact that the two actors had a tiny amount of screen time in the 2008 blockbuster picture ‘Twenty: 20.’
