Kadak Singh Movie Review: The trailer of Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘Kadak Singh’ created a huge buzz for the film. The film was finally released on Zee5 and is now streaming with Hindi audio along with subtitles. The film is suitable to watch with family and kids. I just finished watching the film, and here goes a detailed review of it.

The film stars Pankaj Tripathi in the main lead role along with Parvathy Thiruvothu, Sanjana Sanghi, and Jaya Ahsan in crucial roles. The film also stars Paresh Pahuja, Varun Buddhadev, Dilip Shankar, and others. The film is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, and as we said, it is a family-friendly film.

The story of the film starts with a suicide attempt by a government officer, A.K Srivastava. After the attempt, A.K. loses some of his memory, and he barely remembers anything that happened in the past. Srivastav’s daughter Sakshi feels that this is not a case of suicide but a murder, and that’s why she starts investigating the case with the help of her father. Initially, it looks like it was a suicide, but later on, we get to know about some shocking details. To know what happened next, you need to watch the full movie on Zee5.

The writing of the film is very poor, and there are lots of dull and tedious moments in the film. The film is so long, and it lacks that thrilling element in it. Pankaj Tripathi tries his best to save the film with his performance, but in the end, the film fails due to poor writing. The BGM is another letdown for the film, and the locations look good. The climax sequences were again very weak, and the film ends with dull and lots of colorless moments and offers nothing.

Sanjana was also good in the film, but her character was weak, and all credit goes to the writing. Emotional connections were also missing throughout the film, and the film never connects with its audiences. The runtime is the biggest issue with the film, and after a few minutes, the film looks repetitive and bland. Parvathy Thiruvothu and Jaya were also decent enough to watch, but again, they couldn’t save the whole film due to lazy writing and screenplay.

I am going with 2 out of 5 stars for the film. Tripathi, Sanjana, and other actors have done a great job in the film, but their performances were not enough to make the film a remarkable film. The film is a big letdown, and I will suggest you skip the film.
