Story

The story is Based on Spanish series Penoza, the story is about the Sareen family and their business, Tej Sareen along with his three partners involved in the business of illegal Afim and Medicines sells, his partners Sangram ( his brother) and Jawahar want Tej to start the business of drugs but he didn’t get ready, few days after Tej got killed and his brother got arrested, now the Sareen Family starts getting threats from the underworld and they were asking about money, to save her family the Aarya Sareen gets over the family business, after initial difficulties, she got the full command over the business.

Can she survive in bloodshed world of Drugs and mafia, would she able to know about her husband killers, Aarya has to take care of his kids and family as well, would she be successful, to know this you have to watch the series.

Acting

Just one word, Sushmita won the show, there are lots of good actors all around the series, but you would never ever get rid of Sushmita Sen all throughout the series, Chandrachur hasn’t got much screen presence, another noticeable actor from the series is Sikander Kher, he is just awesome, the three kids of Sushmita Sen are just mind-blowing, they keep the episodes full of cuteness even in dangerous scenes and sequences. Other actors like Ankur Bhatia, Namit Das, and Manish Choudhary were exceptional, the action is one of the best parts about the series.

Screenplay & Editing

This is where series lacks, the series stars awesomely but after the death of Chandrachur, the series goes slow, slow and slow, there is not much thrill, not much suspense, it’s like series is just going and going, in the last few episodes the series regain the momentum, the screenplay is not up to the mark, few episodes left you unconnected, unthrilled and they look uninteresting. The editing part of the series is very week, the series can be ended in 6-7 epsidoes and that would be great, but makers have something else in mind, they just stretched the series to 10 epsidoes.

Overall

I Am going with 3.2 out of 5 for the series, the series is a gem if we look at Sushmita’s performance, but it lacks in terms of editing and screenplay, in the middle, it gets very slow and boring, If you are Sushmita Sen’s fan just go and watch this, otherwise, it’s up to you, if you have spare time of 7-8 hours and patience, you can watch this series, the series is streaming now on Hotstar.
