The School for Good and Evil Shooting & Filming Location: The School for Good and Evil is a fantasy supernatural drama film, which is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Soman Chainani and follows the story of two best friends, Sophie and Agatha, who are forcefully transported to the School for Good and Evil, where they are trained to make them heroes and villains so that they keep the balance between good and evil in the world.

The plot shifts when Sophie finds herself on the side of evil and Agatha on the side of good, putting their friendship to the test.

The School for Good and Evil started filming in March 2021 with cast and crew, where the majority was filmed in Northern Ireland and England, specifically in Belfast, County Down, County Fermanagh, Cultra, Big Dog Forest, Woodburn Forest, and London. The maximum filming takes place across Belfast, which is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, at St. Peter’s Church on Antrim Road and St. Anne’s Cathedral on Donegall Street, and it represents the several parts of the school in the movie where Sophie and Agatha are studying.

The crew members created an entire 125,000 square feet of the production area of the Belfast Harbour Studios, as well as its workshop and office space, which takes up around 8 acres of the Giant’s Park where the filming was done.

The final filming takes place in County Down, which is one of the six counties of Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland filming wrapped up in early July 2021.
