Charlie Hunnam plays the lead character of Lin Ford, a drug addict along with Antonia Desplat, Elektra Kilbey, Sujaya Dasgupta, Alexander Siddig, Elham Ehsas, Fayassal Bazzi, Shubham Saraf, Mel Odedrea, Monica Kumar, Arka Das, Vincent Perez, Suraj Kolarkar, Alvin Maharaj and Ganesh Salian.
AppleTV+ has released the first 3 Episodes of the series in the first week itself like their regular format. First Episode follows Lin’s journey as he escaped from prison after the inmates try to kill him and he somehow winds up in Bombay with a fake Kiwi passport all he wants now; is to forget who he was and start afresh.
Episode 2 finds Lin meeting Prabakar who becomes his friend and introduces him to the Bombay slums where Lin winds up living.
In Prabakar, he finds a friend that he can rely on. What happens in the first two episodes is totally different in the third Episode. We see Lin trying to find his place in the first two places but in the third one, it’s more like the reaction when he’s faced with the consequences of his involvement which has him at crossroads.
Charlie Hunnam has performed this role beautifully because it’s not just about a guy who fled prison but how he finds the place that is unknown to him and how his actions make it seem like his past isn’t as far left behind as he thought. It has a deeply philosophical texture to it which is a very good thing.
Episode 4 streams on AppleTV+ on Friday, 21st October 2022.
