Captain Tamil Movie Review: The trailer was enough to showcase how bad the film is going to be in terms of VFX and CGI, still, I went for some hidden surprises, I just finished Aarya’s film Captain and here is the detailed movie review of the film.
The film stars Aarya, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Simran in the main lead roles, The film also stars Harish Uttam, Kavya Shetty, and others. The music of the film is composed by D Iman and the film is directed by Shakti Sounder. The film is around 2 Hours long and you can watch it with family and Kids.
The plot of the film revolves around an Indian Army Special Team led by Captain Vetri Selvan, the team led by the captain is super trained and they can tackle and defeat any enemies, Things went horrible when a base was attacked by some unknown enemies, Captain was given duty to handle the situation and but this becomes a nightmare for them? How they will handle the situation? who were the enemies and who was behind all this, to know this you need to watch the full film on the big screens.
In the first place, I would like to mention that the Project was very ambitious and a huge appreciation for the creators of the film for thinking something uniuqe. The biggest issue with the film is VFX of course, The audiences are so mature now and they can’t handle this Poorly Made vfxs from the 90s, The VFX is at a new low and almost every shot of those creatures and the fight sequences are just horrible.
I think the film was made in Hurry and honestly speaking if you don’t have a budget to make films like this, Juts don’t make it. A few days back I saw the trailer of a Nepali film ‘Prem Geet’ and trust me, the VFX of that Nepali film is better than this. Coming to the execution, the film failed badly at the climax and execution too, This Proves that only a great idea is not enough. The screenplay was not enough to keep You hooked, the music was average, and rest there is nothing to watch in the film.
Coming to the Performance, The only good thing about the film is some decent performance by the lead pair of the film, Aarya looks wow and his fans are going to love this, his transformation into the character is amazing and he looks mentally and Physically strong. The character shoots him a lot.
Aishwarya looks good too and her chemistry with Aarya is decent and Good enough to watch, the other actors like Harish Uttam and Gokul Nath were another Plus for the film, and the Rest of the others were decent too.
I am going with 2 out of 5 stars for the film, The film lacks screenplay, Execution and Proper VFX work, The idea was amazing but it falls flat, Aarya and other actors tried all their best to make the film good, but again VFX and the screenplay puts them down. I will suggest you skip the film.
