What happened in the episode??

The episode starts with Dolores living normally like every other person in the outer world with another woman and she keeps getting calls from an unknown number who even after blocking is able to get through.

Dolores is now being called Christina and she now works for a company in which she writes scripts. We saw William who is a host made by Charlotte Hale, and Dolores V2.0 who is buying a scrubland in an unfertile land leaving the cartel who monitors that land confused as to why would anyone want to buy that land.

William now has control over the dam which he bought without paying a penny which was badass but killing the cartel instead, the dam stores a massive server hub that harbors data for which the encryption key that he so needs, he doesn’t have it.

We see Maeve after the events of Season 3, she chose to live in a cabin in the mountains. From her memory banks, we see that after the events of Season 3, destroying Reboboam, there was a war between humans and the remaining remnants of Incite. The war must’ve lasted a bit longer and straight after that, Maeve seems to have gone to live in the cabin.

We also see Caleb who, in the memory of Maeve seemed to have a life-threatening injury but he seems to have recovered from a family now with a daughter Frankie, who is 7 years old. Living with his family, he seems to be followed by his past, particularly the army and the missions he used to do for the AI app.

First Episode looks promising because we were expecting a lot of bloodsheds and however it is not that, there seems to be a time skip and that is super nice to see too.

Westworld Season 4 New episodes air every week, Sunday on HBO Max.
