In a time when James Wan & Blumhouse are dominating the Horror Genre, a refreshing take on Horror Comedy has ended its first season called “The Baby”. With its unique storyline focussing on a lady whose all friends have entered motherhood while she doesn’t want to and suddenly, she finds a baby that brings deadly misfortunes.
Wherever that baby goes, death follows people who come close to him and she’s informed that previously all women who have tried to take care of the baby have died in uncertain conditions and then start a game to kill the baby. YES! Attempting to kill a baby is what starts happening after.
This show comes like a dark comedy and this type of topic and plot have hardly been taken up by the mainstream media or the streaming giants. HBO picked up the show for a season that is created by Lucy Gaymer who was a Production Manager for Liar (2020) starring Ioan Gruffudd and Siân Robins-Grace who is the Producer for the famous Netflix Series Sex Education.
The series stars Michelle de Swarte who is a comedian and actress who was previously seen in the Netflix Series called The Duchess. The Baby has a total of 8 Episodes and the series can be streamed on HBO Max.
Now coming to season 2, the show season 2 is not renewed yet, but the makers are planning to renew it soon, there is no official update the season 2, our sources are trying hard to get info about the season. If it happens, season 2 of the show will release by Mid 2023.
