Aditya is now back with another film titled ‘Article 370.’ The film tells us the story of 2019 when the Indian Government scrapped Article 370 of the Constitution. The film is said to be inspired by real-life events and the names and characters used in the film are also based on real-life Incidents.
The characters of the PM and Home Minster are fully Inspired by the real-life Indian PM Sri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The other characters like CMs of J&K are also inspired by the real-life Mehboba Mufti and others. There is another interesting character in the film and the name of the character is Yash Chauhan.
The character of Yash Chauhan is played by Vaibhav Tatwawadi. In the film, Yash is a CRPF Army Officer and he is the main man behind the Burhan encounter and later on some other crucial events. In the film, we also get to see that Yash ties ‘Abdali’ to the Jeep. He also helps Zooni with some other missions. By the end of the film, the character of Yash dies in the Pulwama terror attack.

The answer is No. The character of Yash is a fictional character and it is Inspired by Various real-life characters Mixed together. The Jeep Incident in real life was done by Major Leetul Gogoi who is still alive but in the film, we get to see that Yash dies in a Terror attack.
There is another sequence where we get to see that Yash was with the team during the Burhan encounter, but in real life, No officer named Yash was there in the case. These two incidents are mixed together in the film with a fictional character named ‘Yash Chauhan’.
