Torbaaz Movie Review: Directed by Girish Malik, Sanjay Dutt, and Nargis Fakhri starer Netflix original movie Torbaaz is now released on Netflix and here in the post we are going to review the movie, we would talk about the performances, story, and few other highlights of the movie.

The movie is the second direct OTT release on Sanjay Dutt after Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, Torbaaz was directed and written by Girish Malik who is known for some great movies like Jal & Shola Aur Sabnam, his last movie was Jal in 2013. Let’s jump to the review of the movie.

The plot of the movie was very much clear from the movie, the movie is about Nasser Khan (Played by Sanjay Dutt) who was a doctor in the Indian Army a few months back and he had lost his wife and children in a suicide bomb attack in Kabul, He returns Afghanistan (Kabul) to help his friend Ayesha (Played By Nargis Fakhri) who run an NGO for the refugee Kids. Nasse get to know that Kids have interest in cricket and from there he decided to train the Kids and transform them into the professional cricketers, on the other hand, Terrorist Quazar wants to make them a suicide bomber, who would win this race what would happen to the kids, to know this you have to watch the full movie on Netflix.

The movie has nothing to show in terms of Performances, the movie gives you the feeling of Watching DD sports, it looks like some kids are playing the cricket, some are enjoying, while some are not and some random guy is trying to stop him, Nargis Look dull to in her role, Rahul Dev tried hard to make an impact with his performance, but he fails there too, overall the movie is just too bad in terms of performances, expression and acting.

The screenplay just sucks and the movie is very dull, thank god it was not released in the theatres because the movie is so slow that one can fall off to sleep, there is nothing to watch in the movie except that 20-30 minutes climax, the locations are good and this is the only plus point of the movie, the music is average and bgm is decent too, the editing of the movie is also very poor and the editing is one of the crucial reason behind the failure of the film.

I am going with 1.5 out of 5 stars for the movie, again I would say, the movie is so slow and dull that you can take a nap between it, I would not suggest you watch the movie, you can check Mx Player and better you can watch Durgamati on Prime video.
