The Glory Netflix K Drama: Descendants of the Sun fame Song Hye-Kyo is cast in Netflix’s revenge drama series called “The Glory”. Sweet Home and Youth of May starrer Lee Do-Hyun is also going to play an important character in this series.

Since the screenwriting of this series will be done by Kim Eun-Sook, this will be his reunion with the Song Hye-Kyo. Both worked together last in Descendants of the Sun six years ago.

Descendants of the Sun was a war-drama romantic series from KBS. If we talk about The Glory, the story will revolve around Song Hye-Kyo’s character named Moon Dong-Eun who’s on his way to take revenge on those who bullied her in school and sort of destroyed her childhood and gave her a deep trauma.

The show will be produced by Hwa and Dam while Ahn Gil-Ho will sit on the director’s chair. Ahn Gil-Ho has known for dramas like Happiness, Record of Youth, Stranger, and Memories of the Alhambra.

Yeom Hye-ran, Lim Ji-Yeon, and Jung Sung-il are also cast in this series for important roles. Netflix now knows the potential of Korean content after the huge successes of Squid Game and All Of Us Are Dead.

No release date is finalized but the series might release next year in 2023.
