Snag Review: The action drama thriller is now streaming on Apple TV in the English language with English subtitles. Directed by Ben Milliken, the cast includes Sofía Castro, Ben Milliken, and other stars. The runtime of the movie is approximately 1.2 hours and it is written by Ben Milliken and Brent Tarnol. The movie is rated R for some violence and drug use. Here is the review of the film:
The story is about a guy named Snag who thinks that the lady he used to love is dead. After a few years, he comes to know that the lady he thought was dead is held captive by some gangsters. Now he has to take the violent way and must call his old friends to rescue his girlfriend. What will happen next? To know this, you have to watch the movie.
The director of the movie is a former boxing player and is also involved in acting in many Australian movies and some American TV shows and movies. This is the director’s attempt to get noticed in Hollywood and get some offers from there.

Snag could be a great movie but feels like a remake of the stories you have seen earlier. However, the acting by the lead is great as his comic timing fits perfectly in some scenes. The term “gringo” for Snag can be heard many times in the movie as it is their way to address him as he is not one of them and they consider him an outsider. The movie jumps between two timelines and sometimes it feels like there is no need for these timeline switches many times.
Overall, the movie can be watched once. Some of the positives of the movie are the performance by the lead actor and some jokes and punches that feel so perfect. If you are a fan of this genre, you will feel like you have seen this type of story so many times. The music is also average and the fighting scenes are not so good throughout the movie.
Rating: 2.5/5
