Popular actress Shruti Hassan who has recently signed two big projects in Tollywood opposite Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi is on roll. She will also be seen opposite Prabhas in Prashant Neel’s Salaar. She has recently seen in Amazon’s original series Best Seller and the series received rave reviews.
If the audience remembers Shruti was seen doing some good action scenes in Krack. Shruti on speaking about doing action scenes said that action is something that she enjoys, but it depends on how convincing are the sequences in the film are. She says that she believes women can kick bt better than anyone else.

In India, there are many women who may not be so privileged and can’t defend themselves. So as filmmakers, we have to be careful about how to approach this and how real it should feel. It’s always powerful to see a woman kick an on-screen. However, it needs to blend into the story in a way that reflects reality further adds Shruti.
On being asked about her experience while shooting action scenes in Krack she said In Krack her action scenes made sense because the character is someone who’s expected to show her fighting skills. But otherwise, it’s hard to justify it. Women rarely get to do action on screen, and she says she doesn’t blame cinema for that because that’s just the reality of most women in our country.
When asked about action sequences performed in Hollywood she said that even in the West, it took a long time before women got to do such roles. However, the power of cinema is that you get to imagine things that are one step beyond reality. She finally concludes by saying that one day she hopes India produces more action films.
