2022 is not so good for the Bollywood film, While some films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2′ did exceptionally well business at the box office, some biggies like ’83 The Movie’, ‘Dhaakad’ and Jersey Failed to score on the box office, Bollywood was expecting too much from the Akshay Kumar’s starrer ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, which released on 3rd June 2022.
The verdicts of the first weekend are out and in spite of the poor performance, the film is still in the Top 2, the ranking of the biggest Hindi weekends of 2022, The film collected around 40 Crores at the Box office in three days and the film is now second-biggest Hindi weekend opener of 2022 just behind the Bhool Bhuliayaa 2 which collected massive 55 Crores on the box office in first three days.
Apart from the Hindi films, the KGF Chapter 2 collected huge 193 Crores at the box office in 4 days extended weekend, and the film RRR Collected around 75 Crores in the Hindi version in three days.

- Bhool Bhulaiyaa2: ₹ 55.96 cr
- Samrat Prithviraj ₹ 39.40 cr
- Gangubai Kathiawadi: ₹ 39.12 cr
- KGF Chapter 2 – 194 Crores
- RRR – 75 Crores
Although these numbers are nothing, as the film was made on a huge budget of around 250 crores, the film is heading towards the biggest disaster in Bollywood of all time and now only miracle can save the film.
