Run Sweetheart Run is a movie that came out in the Sundance film festival in 2020 and was directed by Shana Feste. The movie was distributed by Amazon Studios. Plot
The movie follows Cherie who is a hard-working single mother who has no interest in resuming her dating life as of now. But after being constantly prompted by her peers at work she decides to give it a go. Cherie is set up on a blind date by her boss with a man named Ethan. Initially, the date goes very well with Ethan being very charming but things soon become ugly when he starts to switch to his other side which is very violent. With Cherie freaking out of what is happening she decides to cancel the date. But Ethan is after her. She runs for her life and after wandering on foot on the streets for the whole night just to be safe she learns that Ethan is not going to leave her.
Cast
The movie stars Ella Balinska in the main lead role, the movie also stars Pilou Asbæk, Clark Gregg, Aml Ameen, Dayo Okeniyi along with, Betsy Brandt, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Brandon Keener, Briana Lane, Olivia May, Lamar Johnson, and others.
