Room No 54 Review: Better To Watch Youtube Series Rather Than This

Room No 54 Review Zee5: After the blockbuster and huge success of Radhe Zee5 is now back with another web series, Telugu web series Room No 54 is now available to watch on the Platform, I Just finished the series and here I am going to review the Zee5 original, I am going to talk about the story, performances and few more things about the web series.

The web series is written and directed by Siddharth Gowtham, the series stars Moin, Krishna Prasad, Pawan Ramesh, Krishna Teja, and Navya in the main lead roles. The series is of a total of 10 episodes and all episodes are approx 15-20 minutes long, The series is now available on Zee for premium users in Telugu audio along with the English Subtitles. The series is not a family-friendly show.

Plot

The plot of the series revolves around a group of 4 students who live in Room No 54 of a hostel. The story shows their boy’s talks, canceled goa Plans, Nights before exams and some random boys activities which almost everyone does during their hostel days, The plot would remind you of your old hostel days.

Performances

The series is full of new actors even the creator of the series is a debutant director, Krishna Teja was the biggest highlight of the series, he makes you laugh with his witty online liners and for me, he was the best performer throughout the series. Moin in the role of Venkat Rao was also decent his dialogue delivery was good but he struggles during few intense scenes, other actors like Pawan Ramesh and Krishna Prasad were also decent in their roles along with Navya.

Analysis

The biggest issue with the series is the plot itself, there is nothing new in this Hostel Darama, I had already seen some great creations like Hostel Daze and Girls Hostel and this series stands now were in comparison to that, sorry to say but some youtube Hostel Stories and video are even better than this. The best part about the series is, the short episodes, episodes of the series are very short and if you skip and intro and outros you would finish it in 10-12 minutes. The location was decent and it adds a boost to the series, The music of the series was average.

Overall

I am going with 2 out of 5 stars for the series, the series is an average Hostel Drama, if you had seen the series like Hostel Daze and Girls Hostel, You can look for it, otherwise, there are many web series available on Youtube and other OTT platforms which are better than this. The series is of a total of 10 episodes and all are now available on zee5 in Telugu audio with English subtitles.
