Rebecca Movie Netflix: Netflix is on a roll here as they are going to release many new movies that are already being put up as the contenders for the best picture award. Talks are that David Fincher’s upcoming movie Mank is also scheduled to release on Netflix. But today we are here to talk about their latest offering which is going to be a psychological romantic thriller.
The movie is titled Rebecca and is directed by Ben Wheatley. While it is said to be based on the novel which got released in 1938 of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Nira Park serve as the producers of the film.
What Is It About?
The story of the movie revolves around a young woman and a charming man who is a widower named Maxim de Winter. The two start dating and eventually fall in love. While she is warned by many people that Maxim is a widower and is just looking for a company. Ultimately Maxim proposes her to which she agrees and the two go to Maxim’s family estate – Manderley.
There they are welcome by Mrs.Danvers who is the housekeeper of the estate. She is distant towards the new Mrs. de Winter and despises her for taking place of Maxim’s first wife Rebecca who was perfect for him according to her in every way. Strange things start to happen with Mrs.de winter and also this has something to do with Rebecca. What? That she has to find out for herself.

The movie stars Lily James, Armie Hammer, Kristin Scott Thomas in main lead roles, the movie also stars Tom Goodman-Hill, Keeley Hawes, Sam Riley, Ben Crompton, and others.
