Pitta Kathalu Review: After Ludo, I am very fond of anthology movies, now Netflix comes back with another web series titled Pitta Kathalu, the series is of total 4 episodes and is now streaming on Netflix, here in the post we are going to review the series, we would talk about the performances, plot and few more details from the series.

The web series stars Shruti Hassan, Amala Paul, Ashwin Kakumanu, Eesha Rebba, and Jagapathi Babu, the series is directed by Tharun Bhaskar, B.V Nandini Reddy, Naag Ashwin, and Sankalp Reddy, there are total 4 episodes in the series and all episodes are of approx 30-40 minutes each, let’s jump to the review.

Plot

The plot of the series is about four different stories, the first story is about a girl Ramula and her Boyfriend Ram Chandra who is the son of a former MLA, Ramula wants to marry Ramchandra but initially, Ramchandra hesitated, this results in a twisted drama and that ends very painfully. The second story is about Meera, Meera and Her Husband Shiva are married since 9 Years but there is nothing like Couples in their relationship, Shiva always has trust issue and this lead to the unwanted situation in their Life.

The third story of the series is about Vikram who enjoys manipulating human feelings and make fun of relationships, things went different when he himself falls in love with his office girl Divya, how would he see this now, the third episode is all about it. The last episode of the series is another story of Unhappy married life, The last episode revolves around Pinky who is having an affair with a novelist, they decided to settle somewhere in another country and destiny has something else for them.

Performances

The series is full of mixed performances, some are great some are average while some are bad, Amala Paul is amazing once again in her role and she looks good, another amazing performance from the series is by Naveen Bethiganti, he looks down in his role, Shruti Hassan is average and poor plot is one of the biggest reason. Sanjith Hegde is decent in his role and he looks good with his role, sometimes he lacks expression but still, he has a great screen presence than his co-stars.

Overall

The web series is an average anthology with mixed performances, the plot is weak and that is the worst thing about the series Ramula (episode 1) is a little decent as compared to few others but it still fails to make an impact. If you have nothing to watch this weekend, you can watch the series as time pass. The web series is of a total of 4 episodes and all episodes are streaming on Netflix in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu audio along with the subtitles.
