Plot
Season 2 starts from where season 1 ended, the season is more about politics and drama, This season is mostly about college politics and elections. The lead characters of the show fighting for the position of the President of the hostel. There are groups and now they are fighting for the win, everyone one has their own set of problems and this lead to a funny and dramatic hostel Life Drama, who is a winner and what happened next, to know this you have to tune to Sony Liv to watch the full episodes.
Performances
One the biggest plus point of TVF series are their set to actors, they are just amazing and same thing is repeated here once again, everyone is just brilliant again in their role, Girls Hostel 2.0 is about some really awesome performances, Gagan Arora our Cool Dude is back again, Shreya Mehta is rocking again, Ahsaas looks amazing as always and same applies to other casts too, everyone is just up to their mark and the series is just another gem in terms of performances.
Screenplay & Other
One of the lose points of the series is that it looks very familiar and it goes very much predictable at the end, we had already seen these types of series and stories familiar to this, although Girls Hostel 2.0 has nothing new to offer, still it keeps you hooked. The locations are amazing and realistic as always, the music is good and the editing is just mindblowing, the episodes are short and it doesn’t take too much to finish the series.

Overall
I am going with 3 out of 5 for the series, the series is a decent watch and it is a good option to binge this weekend, the 2.0 is a little different from season 1 as it is more about college politics and drama than comedy. So if you are a fan of college drama you can watch the series on SonyLiv. Don’t expect a comedy like a season 1, otherwise, it may disappoint you.
