Maara Movie Review: R Madhwan is such a gem and almost everyone love his films, his new movie Maara is now released directly on OTT, the movie released last Night and here in the post we are going to review the film, we would talk aboutthe plot, performances and few other highlights of the movie.
Maara is a Tamil Romantic drama starring R Madhvan & Shradha Srinath in main lead roles, the movie is created by Dhilip Kumar and co-written by Bipin, the movie is an official remake of Malayalam blockbuster Charlie that released in 2015, let’s jump to the review.
Plot
The plot of the movie is quite simple and it was almost clear from the trailer, the movie revolves around Maara and Paaru, Paaru had heard few things about Maara and they had talked on the phone for few times too, but they had never seen each other, now, Paaru stars to search for Maara and she goes place by place in search of Maara but she gets disappointed every time, All these things seems for like a Past story for Paaru, what was that? and would she able to find Maara, to know this you have to watch the full movie on Amazon Prime Video.
Performances
Making a remake is not an easy thing, you have to work hard to create the same magic again, only big-budget can’t make good remake films, Coolie No. 1, Durgamati and Laxmi are some recent examples, Maara is the remake of Charlie and there was a lot of pressure on actors to make justice to the remake, but when you have actors like Maddy, what else to think for, he is just amazing and brilliant, he is so perfect and clam in each and every frame, the movie is all about his charm, presence, and expression, on the other hand, female lead Shradha Srinath was also good and she needs an equal appreciation for her role too, the other characters from the film were brilliant and they had done justice to their role.
Screenplay & Others
When you already know about the story, it becomes very hard for the makers to make the film interesting and for that, you have to present a perfect screenplay and cinematography and Maara is a perfect example of that, the screenplay is good and it keeps you hooked, the locations and Just amazing and so wow, the music is magical and all these things make the film a brilliant drama.
Overall
I am going with a 3 out of 5 stars for the movie, the movie is a great romantic drama that you can watch this weekend on AMazon Prime Video, if You are a fan of Maddy, Just Don’t Miss it, the movie is available on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil Languages with English Subtitles.
