Jee Karda Review: Amazon Prime Video’s original 8-episode drama series ‘Jee Karda’ is streaming now. The episodes are around 30-35 minutes long and are available on Prime Video in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and a few more dubbed versions. I just finished the show, and here is a detailed review of the series.
The story of the show revolves around a group of friends who have been together since their school days. The story primarily focuses on Lavanya (played by Tammanah) and Rishabh (played by Suhail), and Rishabh’s close friend Arjun, who is a popular singer. Lavanya and Rishabh are about to get married, meanwhile, each one is having their own set of problems. How will they solve it or mess it up? To know this, you need to watch the full series on Amazon Prime Video.
The story of the show was slow initially, and it was looking like just another show. The series picks up momentum after Episode 3, and it will keep you hooked until the end. The last 3 episodes of the show were just amazing, and you are going to love the show for sure.
The music of the show is average, and I think it needs a lot of improvement. The screenplay, cinematography, and the rest of everything were good. The locations were stunning, and the series looks exotic.
Coming to the performances, Tammanah looks great in her role, and she has done a fabulous job. I have watched her for the first time in these types of roles, and she has done a great job. She was living in the character, and by the end of the series, you are going to hate her character for sure. Suhail Nayyar as Rishabh also looks good; he was decent during those emotional sequences. His chemistry with Tammanah was good too.
Ashim Gulati as Arjun was good. His performance is worth a watch; he fits into the character, and he has done a good job in the show. Husain Dala has done a great job in the role of Shahid; his performance in the climax is worth watching. Anya Singh as Preet has also done a great job. The rest of the characters were good too.
I am giving the show 3 out of 5 stars. The series is not a perfect show; it has its own flaws. The series may feel dull until episodes 3 and 4, but it will be a great watch after that. There are lots of skin shows in the series, so don’t watch this series with family and kids.
