Haggerty In ‘Obliterated’ : Obliterated is an action-drama series on Netflix, directed by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald. It follows an elite joint-special operations team from the U.S. Armed Forces and intelligence services as they stop a terrorist network from blowing up Las Vegas.
They discover a fake nuclear bomb and must fight through intoxication to find the real one. The team is filled with 90’s action movie tropes, including a tech nerd, getaway driver/pilot, sniper, and charming male lead. The hulking force of nature, Trunk, assists the heroes in dealing with enemies but only comes close enough to miss the chance to eat it.
The series follows government agents Ava Winters, Chad McKnight, Trunk, Maya Lerner, Angela Gomez, Paul Yung, and bomb defuser Hagerty on a mission to defuse a portable nuclear device from terrorist Ivan Koslov. After a night out in Las Vegas, they realize the threat to the city is still present and must sober up quickly to work hard to disarm the actual bomb.

In the final episode, Maya discovers that Lana is not who she claims to be and that the luggage on the rooftop doesn’t contain the explosive. Instead, she uses tracking tech to find the real nuclear bomb hidden at the Plaza Hotel. Maya enlists bomb expert Hagerty to help defuse the situation, who rides into the casino on a camel while his new wife performs Michael Bublé. He disarms the bomb by cutting the correct wire.
In Netflix’s Obliterated, Haggerty, played by C. Thomas Howell, is a United States Army explosives technician who helps track down bomb threats. The actor has appeared in various TV shows and movies, including Ponyboy in The Outsiders, Thomas Chamberlain in Gettysburg, George Foyet in Criminal Minds, Dewey in Southland, and Roy in The Walking Dead.
