Gyeongseong Creature Review: Netflix is back with a new Korean historical mystery action thriller drama series, which is written by Kang Eun-Kyung and directed by Chung Dong-yoon and Roh Young-sub. This show follows the story is set in the spring of 1945 during the Japanese occupation in Gyeongseong and the plot is set in the Ongseong Hospital. The show is now streaming on Netflix.
In this article, I am going to review this Korean series, where I will try to tell if this series is worth watching or not which I cover in this article.
Gyeongseong Creature follows the story of the richest man in Gyeongsaeng whose name is Jang Tae-sang where we see that he is being bullied and ordered to find a missing person. Where we see the mistress of a Japanese official who threatened him and then, he meets with Yoon Chae-ok who is a mysterious woman on a quest to find her long-lost mother.
After that, we see that the plot of this series changes from the past and the present where the story lags between the shifting of the scene, where we feel that the scene feels dragged and the conversation between them feels a little boring, whereas the introduction of the character makes it show more interesting with the plot.
Whereas the Cinematography of this series is perfect and the scene view is perfect along with the camera angle is perfect, besides that the background music of this show is good but the in some shots the camera is lagging and makes it a little fractured but The acting done by the lead cast done is perfect and makes it perfect to watch.

The VFX of this show is better than expected and the monster scene of this show is looking more real and making it better to watch along with that the scene set in the era of 1945 feels like they shot in that era as the show is showing that time, where the Japanese location makes it feels better to watch. whereas the second half of this show feels a little dragged.
Rating – 3.5/5
This show is a must-watch for the audience who like Korean drama and loves to watch the show where there are monsters. If you want to watch, you must watch 1st episode and it feels connected then, continue as from my side it is recommended to watch.
