El Candidato Season 1 Plot
The show is a thriller drama and revolves around the friendship between a CIA agent who is a veteran and a current kingpin of the drug trafficking trade. The more about the plot and story is yet to be relieved.

The show stars James Purefoy in the lead. With the supporting cast consisting of Daniel Arizmendi, Joaquín Cosío, Roberto Sosa and Eréndira Ibarra, and others. The show is directed by Jamie Reynoso

The official trailer of the series is available on Amazon Prime Video, the trailer is not available yet on Youtube, the trailer would be available anytime soon on the official Youtube channel of Prime Video. We would update the trailer here too.
Release Date
The series is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video from 17th July 2020. The series would be available in Spanish audio along with the English and Portuguese subtitles, For Hindi fans, there would be no any Hindi dubbed version or subtitles for this series.
In relation to the series, Amazon prime released an official statement which read that;
” More than a spy show, the series is a drama of two civilizations collapsing. It is about how the most powerful country treats its neighbor. It is about how far people go for money, for hatred, for power and of course, for love. Everything happening in one of the most radiant cities in the world, Mexico City”.
Season 2
The season 2 of the series is expected to release in 2022, there is no any official confirmation yet made by the makers or the Amazon Prime Video, if anything happens in future, we would update about it.

I love the hard hitting drama with all the twists and turns and how rich the characters are. I like the realism of the tremendous pain and inhumane treatment of the victims which are oftentimes killed. I also like the shades of grey portrayed by many of the characters. The politics are great on so many different levels!
