Recap & Summary
The Plot of the film revolves around the Riots and rivalries between the Hindus and Sikhs after the Killing of Indira Gandhi and then Anti Sikh Riots, The story of CAT is about a Young Guy named Garry whose Parents were Killed by a Group of People over a Dispute, Garry thought that his parents were Killed by his own Uncle and Garry Murdered him, After the Murder, Garry Joins the Group of Extremist to save himself from Police.
During One Police Encounter, Garry was caught by Police, and here one of the Police officers Named Sehtab Singh asked Garry to work for them as the Undercover agent, Garry Starts working for the Police as the Undercover agent and Keeps updating the Police about the latest developments in the Extremist Groups, with the help of Garry, Shetabh Singh eliminated all the Terrorists from the region and he Got Promoted.
After the Mission Sehtab Singh advised Garry to Leave the Village and start living in the Name of, Gurnaam Singh, Garry Thought his revenge is over and he starts working as a mechanic and living a Decent life with His sister ‘Raman’ and Brother Sunny’. 10-12 Years later, One Bad Day Sunny was caught by Police for selling Drugs, Gurnaam tried his best to save Sunny from Police, but he failed.
During a News of TV, Gurnam saw the same Shetabh Singh and then he asks for Help, Shetab Agress to release ‘Sunny’ but he asked Gurnam to do a Return favor, Shetab asked Garry to become CAT again and asked him to help in busting the Drug Racked that was going all over the City, For the Sake for Brother Garry Agrees to Join the CAT again.
The Drug Racket in the City is Operated and Managed by ‘Madam Auklakh’ who is also the MLA of the City, Elections are Near and to Clear Her image ‘Madam Aulakh’ asked the Police to arrest her own Gang Member Ladi Singh’, Ladi Singh was Sen to Jail by the Police and Garry was also transferred to the same Jail as the Part of Plan.
In the Jail, as Per Plan Laadi Singh was attacked by Some Goons and Gurnam Saved him and there they become friends, After coming out of Jail, Gurnam Starts working as a Driver for Laadi Singh, Gurnam Plan to trap Mukhtiyaar who was very Close to Laadi and he get succeed into it, Mukhtiyaar was arrested by Police and then Gurman becomes the most Crucial and Very Close to Laadi. Slowly and steadily Gurman won the Trust of Madam Aulakh too and he became very Close to everyone.
Gurman also tries to win the trust of Ladi by reuniting Ladi’s wife and his daughter, When Ladi was celebrating his Daughter’s Birthday, Police Raids the Place and chased Gurman and Laadi, During the Chase Laadi came to Know that Gurnam is working for Police and to Hide the truth, Gurnam Kills Laadi and frames it as an Accidental Death with the Help of Police.
After the Death of Laadi, Gurman comes Very Close to Madam Aulakh and now he is managing all the Drug-related activities slowly he became close to everyone who is related to ‘Madam Aulakh’ in the Drug Business.
On the other hand, ‘Pradhan Ji’ another Influential Person from the City is Planning something big against ‘Madam Aulkah’ to win the election with the Help of the Police and Shetab Singh. With the combined effort of All, ‘Madam Aulakh’ was Killed and there Garry Came to Know that Shetab was the man behind the Killing of his Father and he was shattered.
The Ending
In the last episode of the show we get to see that Garry aka Gurnam Crossed the border illegally and went to Pakistan, where he asked for some Person and the series ends here, If you recall the first episode of the show, we get to see that, The man from Pakistan use to send people to Canada illegally and Gurman asks for the same help. Gurnam is dead in the Police records and that’s why he chose to go through illegal ways.
In the last episode of the show, we get to see that, Gurnam and Babita offer a Bribe of around 1 Crore to Policeman to spread the fake news of the Gurnam death, After the news Shetab was assured that Garry is dead and he went to Canada, Now in the season 2 we will see how Garry save his brother Sunny and his sister ‘Raman’ from the Gangsters of Canada and how he Kills Shetabh.
