Call Me Chihiro Movie Review: The Japanese Drama is now streaming on Netflix in the Japanese language with English Subtitles directed by Rikiya Imaizumi the main cast includes Kasumi Arimura and other stars.
The runtime of the movie is approx. 2.1 hours written by Rikiya Imaizumi and the movie is rated TV-14, In this article, I am going to give you a review of the movie so let’s get started.
The story is the adaptation of a Japanese manga Chihiro-san, the story revolves around a girl Chihiro who used to be an S3X Worker but now working in a Bento shop, and is now helping people to deal with their life problems and bringing positive energy to their life. Her Bento shop was usually filled up with men who used to be her customers.
The feels like little slow as the runtime time of the movie is very long and the story is also average, but sometimes it will feel good and the story of Chihiro slowly moves to its end, the direction is also average except for the lead no is able to shine out throughout the movie.
But the majority of the time the movie feels like not focusing on the major topic if you are a fan of light feel-good movies so you can watch it, but only if are in the mood to just watch a movie.
The film also shows the dark past of Chihiro but fails to show the emotions they want to show to the audience, like in a scene Chihiro was getting stabbed by a knife in her back but the emotional bond was not that good with the audience so we could not feel anything in that part. Sometimes it feels like the movie is going on like a blank slate without any purpose.
So overall this movie is very average and the ending also not seems so satisfying so you can skip it also, but if you want to watch it you can stream this movie now on NETFLIX available in the Japanese language with English subtitles.
