Blood Coast Episode 3: Netflix’s latest French action crime thriller drama series Blood Coast which is written by Kamel Guerma and directed by Olivier Marchal follows a group of police officers in Marseille who take pride in their methods of tracking down dangerous criminals and fighting crime.
Episode 3 of Blood Coast which is titled, “Closing In” where the episode begins with the introduction of a lawyer named Jaborska who is entertaining guests at dinner and is being stopped by a masked man named Lyes who demands Jaborska who opens the safe. We see that Lyes steals files from his office, including details of a case involving Serge Lafont and a prostitute killed six months ago. Later we see that The team is being pressured by news of Foudil’s death.

Alice speaks to Lyes about his sister’s overdose death and reveals that he is in the narcotics team. Alice assures him that she is not his enemy and that Miranda’s lackey is not involved. Lyes gives Alice a small lifeboat, allowing her to meet Peretto in an hour. The story highlights the tension between the team and the characters’ personal lives.
Later, we find that Bakari disappears, and Tatoo suspects it could be due to the intel he gave up on Biggie. Vidal and Lyes visit Peretto to pressure him over details about Sandy, the prostitute. Peretto agrees to give intel on two conditions: keeping the file with him and watching their back as people see the Indian in a Brothel on the Spanish border.
Alice is concerned about a gap in Lyes’ file and something that happened with the team. As they prepare to head to Spain, the rest of the team finds Biggie and prepares to take him down. However, he is already dead, lying in his hideout with a bullet in his head. Miranda and the District Attorney pressure the Commissioner and team on the situation in Marseille, revealing a worsening situation. Miranda has opened an investigation into Lyes.
At the end of episode 3, we see that the Commissioner briefs the team on the bullet and Nader’s next target. In private, Miranda talks to Arno about his wife’s relapse and encourages him to spend time with her. Arno refuses, focusing on work. Later, Alice and Lyes visit a strip club at the Spanish border, where Lyes notices a familiar girl, Fanny Santiago, who was seen in the field in episode 1.

We see that Fanny who is part of Murillo’s team, is under an international arrest warrant due to her debt with him. She saved his life when Murillo was about to kill him. Lyes and Alice watch Fanny’s car during a stakeout.
Tobias discovers Da Costa and Foudil’s double-crossing, and they take him to the dock and kill him. Fanny leaves the pair from afar, while the rest work to grab Nader and Tarek Hamadi, a man with a history of bad reputation.
