The series was made on the budget of Approx 18 crores, the series is 8 episodes long, and each and every episode is well directed and crafted, there is not much action or the VFX use and that is one of the reasons that this series maintained its moderate budget.

There are not much-paid actors in the series except Arshad Warsi, there are normal star cast and simple locations, the series was a gem with the story and performances. The perfect example of what good film making is called.

Voot has over 100 million user base in India and when they released their premium platform Voot Select, they gained massive audiences from their first blockbuster Asur, they then released back to back web series like The Raikar Case, Illegal and Marzi, these were moderate in terms of Viewership.

The series is blockbuster from all aspect, the series got a positive response from the audiences as well as critics, the series was also commercially successful, there was huge growth is Voot plus subscriptions, but it was limited to few months only, as Voot doesn’t have much new content to watch.

Asur was commercially and critically successful for the Voot Select. From 100 million monthly active users, Voot sees its user base increase to 150 million by the end of this year.

    I liked so much in this series was direct challenging to God. There is no any main hero or villain, story lining itself is villain.

    I want to see the 2nd part of it.

  3. Mind blowing webseries, I had a immense respect to all the characters who played roles in this masterpiece. This webseries is not just a webseries, who watched this properly and understand it word to word then he/she realised that this webseries gave a important message about the today’s reality to the people’s.
