Apurva Movie Review: Tara Sutaria has been in the news for the last few weeks due to her never-seen avatar in her upcoming movie ‘Apurva.’ The film finally got released on Hotstar, and the film is around 90 minutes long. I just finished watching the film, and here is a detailed review of the film.

The film stars Tara Sutaria, Rajpal Yadav, and Abhishek Banerjee in the main lead roles. The film also features Dhairya Karwa, Sumit Gulati, and Aaditya Gupta in crucial roles. The film uses strong language such as abuse and other words, so it is not suitable to watch with family and kids.

The story of the film starts after a road rage incident when a bus driver was killed by a local goon, ‘Jugnu.’ A girl named Apurva was traveling on the same bus, and she was kidnapped by another goon named ‘Sukhi’ after the incident. Apurva seeks help from her boyfriend Sidharth, but due to police negligence, he can’t do anything. Apurva now has no option left but to save herself from these goons. Will she be able to save herself? To know this, you need to watch the full movie on Hotstar.

Starting with the performances, the film is packed with some great performances. Tara Sutaria is seen in a never-before-seen avatar, and she is executing actions and fights flawlessly. She has done her job, and she looks great in the film during the action and fight sequences. Abhishek Banerjee shines again with his brilliant performance, and Rajpal Yadav was also decent in the film.

The story and the screenplay of the film are very poor. The narration of the film also makes it dull, and there are some sequences in the middle of the film that make no sense. The film is fast-paced and only 90 minutes long, but it looks slow and dull in the second half. The music and BGM are other weak parts of the film, and a strong BGM is missing badly in the film. The locations and other aspects are good.

I am going with 2.5 out of 5 stars for the film. The film has some great performances, but the routine story and poor screenplay make it an average film. If you have nothing to watch, you may have a look at this as Tara Sutaria’s career-best performance.
