Pan Indian movie Radheshyam finally hit the screens yesterday across the nation. But looks like things are not certainly working out in the favor of the makers, especially in the North.
The movie mostly received negative reviews from critics. Bollywood critic analyst Taran Adarsh gave the movie 2 stars and called it a big disappointment.
Though there was no actual Hype and buzz for the movie already in the Northern belt. The movie also failed to generate buzz in the Southern States. In spite of simultaneously shooting the film in Hindi and releasing five separate songs in Hindi which include songs from popular singers like Armaan Malik, Arijit Singh, Mithoon, and Manan Bhardwaj the movie fails to attract the masses from Northern circuits.
Radhe Shyam Budget & Day Wise Collection
The opening collection of Radheshyam in the Northern circuit stands at 4.5 crores. Considering Prabhas stardom this is a very big disappointment and we can also call it a disastrous opening. Prabhas last movie Sahoo opened to around 20 crores and has been a hit in spite of negative reviews.
But the collection in the Telugu States has been excellent. The movie further went on to become the highest grosser post-pandemic with 79 crores. Kashmir files have been seen picking up pace in the Northern circuits while there are no good signs for Radheshyam. The movie might end its box office collection around 30 to 40 crores. Radheshyam stars actors Prabhas, Pooja Hegde, and Bhagyashri in prominent roles.
