AppleTV+ Platonic helmed by Seth Rogen & Rose Byrne which tells the story of best friends who meet again after Will’s divorce news makes it to Sylvia and she reaches out to him. The two had not parted ways on a good note and how the two old friends get back together and help each other in their not-so-great lives is what Platonic is about.
Will has been going through a divorce and at the same time, his workplace does not follow his vision. Sylvia on the other hand has been trying to get back into the workforce after having three kids but doesn’t have the confidence and when she does find it, she gets fired in just a day. How the two help each other in these tough times is what makes Platonic worth watching. However, with the Season ending, there might be questions about what happens to Will at the end.
Platonic Season 1 Ending Explained: What Happens To Will?
In the last Episode, Will has been under fire to not quitting and selling his part of the shares to his business partners who are trying to force him out after their disagreements on everything. Will does not want to leave because Lucky Penny is the business that he has built from the bottom up.
After their tiff with Johnny Rev where he harasses Sylvia, Sylvia comes to Will in the last Episode telling him that Johnny Rev has been under fire for harassing women with a long history and he has quit making Jenna the CEO of the company. Sylvia lies about her talking with Jenna about a job offer and makes Will drive to San Diego just to have a conversation about giving him a job with Jenna and it works. Will ends up getting a job at the corporation and then moves to San Diego.

In the last minutes of the Episode, we see Will and Sylvia meeting each other after a year during Andy and Katie’s wedding where they talk and end up reminiscing about the times they both were a mess and how their current stable scenario is boring.
