The Perfect Find Review: The latest romantic drama ‘The Perfect Find’ is now streaming on Netflix. The story is about Jenna, played by Gabrielle Union, who is a very famous fashion designer in the industry. However, after her highly publicized breakup with Brian, played by D.B. Woodside, she decides to quit her career and go to her mother’s house. After spending a year there, her mother tells her to move back to New York and start something new.
Jenna takes her advice and asks Darcy, who used to be her rival, for a job. Darcy gives her the job, but while working there, Jenna falls in love with Eric, who is 20 years younger than her. Later, she finds out that he is Darcy’s son. The movie is directed by Numa Perrier and is inspired by Tia William’s novel of the same name, which was published in 2016. The runtime of the movie is 1 hour 40 minutes, and it is rated for mature audiences only.
The movie is very average, and all the dialogue and punches feel a little flat. The only good thing about this movie is its runtime; it’s short, so you won’t get stuck in long conversations between the characters. Speaking of performances, the actors have done an average job, but the movie doesn’t give them enough time to establish their story, so we feel a little disconnected from them.

The chemistry between the main leads also feels incomplete, making it hard to connect with them. The music of the movie is very average, and the ending becomes very predictable after you start watching the movie for some time.
The twists and turns are so predictable, which makes the movie even more boring for fans who love this type of romantic drama. Unfortunately, this movie doesn’t stand out in terms of that. Some scenes between Jenna and Eric show great chemistry, but the majority of them fail to do so.
However, the filming locations and camera work are great. The locations used for filming are fantastic; as you all know, Paris is known as the city of love, and you will also enjoy the locations during the movie.
MY RATING: 2/5
This is my rating and review of the movie. If you are a fan of this genre, this movie may disappoint you, so I recommend that you skip it. However, if you still want to watch this movie, you can stream it on Netflix.
