Where the Crawdads Sing, the recently released Mystery Thriller film that shared the silver screen with some big budget movies out there, including the recently released Lightyear, Top Gun, and Jurassic World: Dominion and still managed to earn a whole lot more than its budget has been released on BluRay.
Made with a budget of $24 M, the film was able to rake in more than $110 M which says itself that the movie must’ve had something.
The film is about a woman who raised herself in the marshes and becomes a suspect in the murder of a man she was in a romantic relationship. It stars, Daisy Edgar Jones of Normal People along with Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, and Michael Hyatt. The film is based on the 2018 novel of the same name written by Delia Owens.
Released by SONY, the film managed to impress the audience with its vivid cinematography and as usual, Daisy has been applauded for her performance, a streak that she has continued to be on after Normal People.
The film might seem like a normal Mystery Thriller Drama but it is also a Coming Of Age Story about a girl who raises herself to womanhood after she feels that the real world with people judging each other is not for her. The film has done exceptionally well with mixed reviews from critics but in the end, the audience liked it. The film is about to release in India on September 16, 2022.
