Based on a true story, director David O. Russel is back with a bang after 7 years of gap. A new movie is on the way starring our Gorr The God Butcher aka Christian Bale. AMSTERDAM movie is backed by 20th Century Studios.
The movie has a tight grasp in terms of actors. We can see Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington coming together for a movie that seems a delight to watch.
From the trailer, we can make some guesses about the story. It will be based in the 1930s when all three major stars are entangled with a murder charge. Burt, Valarie, and Harold played by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and John David Washington have become prime suspects in a big murder case right after serving in World War 1. We can see Burt and Harold are soldiers while Valarie is a nurse.
Further in the trailer, we get to see Robert De Niro who’s playing Gil; a lawyer who somehow knew the victim personally. It would be great to see such amazing actors coming together in a movie. Does this remind me of Knives Outright? They also had a big big star cast and it only got bigger in the second installment.
Bohemian Rhapsody starring Rami Malek and Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana are also playing major roles of Tom and Irma in the movie. The additional supporting cast includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough, Alessandro Nivola, and Timothy Olyphant.
Beautiful singer Taylor Swift and The Queen’s Gambit starrer Anna Taylor Joy are also going to play important roles in the movie.
AMSTERDAM comes out on the 4th of November, 2022. After a few months of its release, we can expect this movie to stream on Hulu in the first quarter of 2023.
