Vikram Review: Brutal, Brilliant & Banger

Vikram OTT Release Date

Films like KGF Chapter 2 and RRR have created a tsunami at the box office, those films were made for the big screens, Another film released today looks like it is made for the big screens. Yes, I am talking about the Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram which was released today, I just finished the show, and here is the detailed review of Vikram.

The film stars Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi in the main lead role, The film is around 150 minutes long, the film was released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions, The film is not suitable to watch with family and Kids (USA Version), I am not sure about the Hindi censored version.

Before jumping to the review, A huge appreciation for Lokesh, how he tried his best to connect the films like Kaithi, Vikram, and Master together and he created his own universe, and he delivers it too. The story of the film revolves around the Serial Murders in the city, A brilliant investigating officer Amar (Played by Fahadh) is assigned to the case,

When Amar starts investigating the case, he came to know that the case is not about just normal murders and Gangwars, it is about something else, When he gets down to the investigation, he found some shocking connections, what are they and how they are related and how the investigation is going to change the life of many forever, the film will tell you. We are not revealing the spoiler here and we request you to do the same.

Vikram Usa Review

The best thing about the film was the BGM, the BGM and the music of the film are super cool, The Vijay Sethupathi Entry sequence is a pure whistle sequence and you are going to love that for sure, Kamal Haasan’s entry sequence was decent too, The fight sequences were very brutal and if you love the blood and gunshots, You are going to love it, The Second half is full of magical moments and it brings the major Plus for the whole film. The second half especially the climax is the just Bomb, the film gets the momentum after the pre-interval block, and from there, it is just unstoppable.

Vikram Movie Day 1 Box Office Collection

The first of the film was a little slow and there are a lot of links from the film ‘Kaithi’, so if you haven’t watched the Kaithi yet, Then you are going to miss some crucial things, the film has lots of use of foul words and some sequences that were not needed at all, Apart from the slow pace in the first 60-70 minutes, rest everything was good.

Kamal Haasan is super great in the film and you are going to see him in a completely different avatar from his last few films, He looks brutal and his body language is superb, there are few sequences where he looks badass and I am pretty sure the fans are going to love it. Vijay Sethupathi is the best performer in the film from me, from the entry itself, he is in the film and his character never fails to surprise you, His expressions and dialogue delivery again prove why he is such a great actor.

Fahadh Faasil looks dope as always and he slays it in this thriller too, he is so comfortable in portraying the roles like this and he nailed it again. Gayathri and Shivani were decent in their respective roles, Suriya looks amazing in the small yet effective cameo. Anirudh is the hero of the film, He is killing it once again with the chords and music, The BGM is just lit.

I am going with 3.5 out of 5 stars for the film, The film is made for the masses and if you loved the films like KGF Chapter 2 and if you like the film and sequences full of blood and guns then you are going to love this film for sure, The first half of the film is little slow, but the film gathers the momentum in the pre-interval block and then it will keep you hooked till the end.
