Kanada director Gururaj film Hareesha Vayassu 36 was recently released in theatres. It was released three days ago and late Puneeth Rajkumar has rendered his vocals to the title song. According to the sources, the film director is apparently upset regarding the number of screens allotted for his movie.
Speaking to the media he said that though other multiplexes in Mangaluru have continued his movie shows, the PVR in the city canceled all his shows and has increased the shows of the Hindi film. He says that he is not telling that the Hindi film is bad but his demand is to give preference to non-Kannada films and is strictly rebelling on how regional films are going to survive if shows for regional films are canceled in their own state only.

Sharan Pumpwell the leader of Bajrang Dal demanded to increase shows of ‘The Kashmir Files’. Sharan says that they are not against any regional films and their only demand was to have shown in all the multiplexes and theaters India-wide. In the meantime, the police in Mangaluru were maintaining an alert for the possibility of similar issues of protests in Gurgaon in favor of The Kashmir Files.
Hariram Shankar, DCP on speaking about this issue said that they are aware of such developments in Gurgaon and elsewhere and assured that no such developments are happening here in Mangaluru and they have been keeping a close watch on this issue. Well if a film is doing wonders at the box office there is nothing wrong increasing the screens of the film and a film like Kashmir files deserves all the Hype and craze.
