Tiku Weds Sheru Review: Amazon Prime Video’s original film ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ is now streaming on Prime Video. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles. It is produced by Kangana Ranaut and has a runtime of around 2 hours. The film is available in Hindi audio version on Prime Video. I just finished watching the film, and here is my detailed review.

The story revolves around Sheru, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is a struggling supporting actor and is single. Sheru receives a marriage invitation from Tiku’s family, played by Avneet Kaur, and he agrees to marry her. However, on the first day of their marriage, Tiku runs away from the house, revealing that she is an aspiring actress who married Sheru for that reason.

What will Sheru do and how will Tiku’s life change after that? To find out, you need to watch the whole film on Prime Video.

The story itself is very predictable and silly. There is no drama, no thrill, and no romance in it. The film feels dull overall. The music and other aspects of the film are also below average, and it fails to showcase anything remarkable. As for the performances of the actors, I was shocked to see Nawaz’s acting in this film. He performs poorly, and I must say, this is his weakest film to date.

Avneet Kaur, on the other hand, is also not good. She tries her best, but she fails miserably. There is no chemistry between them, and throughout the film, it feels like something is missing. The climax is illogical and lacks substance. In a beach sequence where Sheru is having a conversation with Tiku, Nawaz’s acting was so bad that it looked funny to me when he was crying.

There wasn’t even a single sequence where he looked good, and the same goes for Avneet. The film is a complete blunder. I give it 2 out of 5 stars, and I suggest you skip watching it. There are some bold sequences in the film, so it’s not suitable for watching with family and kids.
