The Wife Movie Review (Zee5): After Khamoshiyan Gurmeet Choudhary is back with another Horror thriller drama and this time it is from the Zee5 original movie The Wife, The movie just released on Zee5, and here in the post we are going to review the movie, we would talk about the Performance, plot and few more highlights from the movie.
The movie stars Gurmeet Choudhary and Shyani Dutta, the movie is directed by Sarmad Khan and released by Zee Studios, the movie is approx 90 minutes in length and you can watch the movie with family as there is no skin show in the film. Avoid watching it with kids as there are some disturbing horror scenes. Let’s jump to the review.
Plot
The movie revolves around Varun and Arya who is recently married and they had just shifted to the new house and there Aarya feels some Supernatural elements, firstly Varun ignores Aarya and her thoughts about the supernatural things but one day a shocking incident makes Varun believe that there is some supernatural element in the house, they ask for help with a priest and here comes the shocking past of Varun that was the reason behind Supernatural elements. What was the reason and who was behind all this, to know this you have to give 90 minutes to Zee5?
Performances
The movie is all about only two characters, Aarya (Played by Sayani Dutta) and Varun (Played By Gurmeet Choudhary). Gurmeet shines in his role and he looks good in terms of expression and body language, his dialogue delivery is brilliant and the way he has acted in the climax is just wow, the other character , Satani Dutta was also decent and she had done a good job, her dialogue delivery was brilliant and the way she changes her expression in frames is just amazing, Rest there is nothing in terms of Performances.
 Analysis
I don’t know why actors agree to act in childish plots like this and more surprisingly the producer who agrees to spend their hard earn money on a project like this, the script is very poor, and it looks like a childish 90s horror movie, the movie is approx 90 minutes long and you get almost zero thrills and sacres, the climax is very casual and there is not even is a single scene where it scares you. The same mirror reflection scene, the same door sound scenes, and the same shadow scenes, and all these with poor storytelling make the movie worst.

I am going with 1.5 out of 5 for the movie, Avoid this movie at all cost, if you are a crazy fan of Gurmeet, You can check it on Zee5, rest there is not even a single reason to watch this movie. The movie is approx 90 Minutes long and now available on Zee5 in Hindi audio with English subtitles.
