The Married Women Review (Zee5 & Alt Balaji): I was waiting for this since the announcement of the cast and finally the series released on Zee5 and alt Balaji on 8th March 2021, there is a total of 10 episodes in the series and here in the post we are going to review the series. We would talk about the performances, Plot, and a few more highlights of the series.

The series stars Monica Dogra, Ridhi Dogra, Suhas Ahuja, and Imaad Shah in crucial roles, the series is created by Ekta Kapoor, the series is now released on Zee5 and Alt Balaji Together, Let’s Jump to the Review.

Plot

The story of the series was set during the 90s and it revolves around Aashta, Ijaz Khan and Peeplika, Aashta who is unhappy with her married life get to work with Ijaz Khan in the college play and there she falls for him, things start changing and accidents shock everyone and the life of Aashta changes completely, her married life get affected too, what was the reason, how Aashta and Peelika come closer to know this you have to watch the whole series on Alt Balaji.

Performances

I liked it the most, this is the best series on Alt Balaji in terms of performances, actors are just killing it, Specially the pair of Dogra’s. Monica and Ridhi Dogra both are just brilliant, Monica is just awesome and she is killing it in every frame, the way she changes her character is just mindblowing. Ridhi looks awesome in the role of independent and open-minded women and she was brilliant too, another highlight from the series was Suhas Ahuja, he is brilliant in role and he fits in it completely, Imad Shah has a very short role but still, he makes a great impact in the series. Once Again I would say, this one is the best from Alt Balaji in terms of Performances.

Analysis

I was a little unhappy with the story, the story looks very much familiar and we had already seen the series and movies like this long ago, there are some religious angles too and I am sure that series is going to get outraged for that, the Production quality is very low, the locations are repeated and the BGM is average, and one more thing most of us are not going to agree with this definition of women empowerment, the series is not made for Indian households for sure. The only thing in the series that makes it worth watching is the brilliant performances by the actors.

Overall

I am going with 2.8 out of 5 stars for the series, Give It A Try for the performances, if You have nothing to watch you can binge the series, don’t watch this with family and kids as there are lots of Skin Shows, There are total 10 episodes and Each episode are approx 30 minutes long.
