Netflix’s original series is estimated to made on the Budget of approx 15 Million dollars, there are some lavish locations and great use of VFX, which makes it a moderately budgeted series.
The series is of total 10 episodes, each of them is approx 30 minutes long, the whole series is approx 5 hours long and has a huge star cast, lots lots of junior artist, there is not any damages that also minimizes the overall budget, there is a lot of use of Green screen for shooting space scenes.
Although the makers have never confirmed this budget, this looks perfect estimated budget for this series, the series falls flat, but still, some media houses are claiming that there may b another season for this series, which doesn’t look possible from our point of view.
The most of the budget is spent on the locations and the setups, the best part about the series is, there is not much war sequences or explode sequels, which can stretch the budget to another million.

If we look at the early estimates, the is series is going to be a disaster in all aspects, critically and commercially. God knows it may be loved by the audiences in the coming future.
