Sharper Movie Review: The latest Thriller Drama Crime movie is now in limited theatres and will be available to stream on Apple Tv+ from February 17th. Directed by Benjamin Caron and the star cast includes Justice Smith, Briana Middleton, and Sebastian Stan.
The runtime of the movie is approx 2hrs long, written by Brian Gatewood the movie is rated R for language and some sexual substances. In this article, I am going to give you a review/summary of the movie so let’s get started.
The story is about a bookshop owner in New York Tom (Justice Smith) who is a sweet guy one day he met with a girl in the bookstore Sandra (Briana Middleton) who is a Ph.D. student and tells Tom how a book from his store changed her life.
Later they flirt with each other go to dinner and eventually fall in love with each other. After that Sandra reveals that his brother has to give some bad guys 350k dollars that he owned surprisingly Tom agrees to give her the money he then tells her his father is a very rich and wealthy man but their relationship is not so good Off course after that Sandra disappears with his money, And then we came to know that this is part of a plan Sandra who is a drug addict out on parole from prison is picked up by a con man Max (Sebastian Stan) who trains her to be a woman according to her liking of tom and to get that 350k dollars.
The cast of the movie is very big and strong performers including Moore, and winter solder Sebastian Stan and the performance done by the cast is brilliant Tom is the most lovable character throughout the movie, and by seeing Sandra’s performance how cannot Tom falls in love with her.
Review: Farzi Review Prime Video: A Unique Show With A Predictable Cliffhanger
However having a strong performance by the cast the movie still feels a little dull and after some time the movie becomes predictable, but the twist and turns in the movie keeps you hooked throughout the end, And in the end, you will see the sharpest of all of them is the one who is not sharpest throughout the movie.
My Rating: 3/5
