Salaar Day 8 Advance Booking: Prabhas’ film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has been doing well since its release on 22nd December. It has garnered good numbers at the box office, and a great credit goes to the advance booking of the film in different regions across India. The film has received a positive response from both major and small cities.
Even on the opening day, it made Rs. 90.70 Cr, and by the 5th day, it had earned a total of Rs. 278.90 Cr, becoming a big hit in Hindi Cinema as well.
This film, directed by Prashanth Neel, focuses on two friends who turn into enemies due to certain circumstances. It carries a great storyline with a powerful narrative under the banner of Hombale Films. Along with the rebel star Prabhas, the other cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy, all of whom delivered great performances in the film.
At the end of 2023, the Indian film industry witnessed a big clash between two films, Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki, which was released on 21st December, a day before Salaar. Both films seem to be performing well at the box office. Although Salaar faced some screen-sharing issues with PVR INOX, as all screens were occupied with SRK’s Dunki.
The film Salaar is set in the fictional city of Khansaar and revolves around two friends, where one is a tribal person, and the other is the king’s son.
