The Pan India movie RRR is finally releasing next week in theatres after being postponed for a long time. The movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, Junior NTR, and Ajay Devgan in prominent roles and is being directed by Bahubali director SS Rajamouli and produced under the DVV entertainments banner.
Exclusive details about RRR’s censor certificate and the cuts and modifications are being circulated around social media. The Telugu version of the film, Which is the original language, and the version of film was granted a U/A certificate on November 26, 2021. The Hindi version got the U/A certificate from the censor board on December 6the, 2021, RRR’s Hindi version’s censor work was done from the Hydrabad office of CBFC.

Now reports say that the Telugu version of the film has three audio cuts. The abusive words ‘F*ing’ and ‘B*h’ were asked to be removed by the censor board. There is a word ‘Indian’, which was also removed from dialogue, There were no audio cuts in the Hindi version
So after these cuttings and trimmings finally When the certificate was granted to RRR, the duration of both the versions was 186 minutes and 54 seconds, that is, 3 hours 56 minutes and 54 seconds. However, on December 24, 2012, the makers voluntarily made some cuts in the film, probably to reduce the duration of the film for a better impact. A sequence of around 1 minute 35-second long scenes was removed.
The end credits were also reduced by as much as 3 minutes and 26 seconds. After these cuts were carried out, the film saw lots of changes in the duration, the final duration of Rajamauli’s Action Drama RRR for both versions is now 181 Minutes which is around 3 hours.
The censor process and certification were done in November – December 2021 as the film was supposed to be in cinemas on January 7, 2022, but later it was suspended due to the covid issue.
