Radhe Shyam Review: Honestly speaking I was waiting for the film for so long, The music was good, the trailer looks amazing and of course, the presence of Prabhas makes it big, The film was released today on Big screens,  I just finished watching the film, and here are the positives and negatives of the film, I am going to talk about the cast, performances and a few more aspects of the film.

The movie stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the main lead roles, the film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film is around 2 hours long, the film was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu version. The film is a family-friendly film, let’s jump to the review.

The plot of the film revolves around Vikramaditya who is a Palm reader, his predictions never go wrong for anyone, and in all between these, he met his love of the life Prerna (Played By Pooja Hegde), and everything changes from here. What happened after that and where the destiny will take them, to know this you have to watch the full movie.

Radhe Shyam Budget & Day Wise Collection

I am still confused about story approval, How and who approves this kind of script? and how can makers put such a huge budget in these silly stories? I don’t know why this film was made and who found this story interesting, there is no story in the film and only God knows what the makers and the creators want to show. The story is a pure disaster and this one is one of the worst storytelling in the last 5 years.

Coming to the performances, Prabhas looks so bad in the film and especially the Hindi dub of the film is absolutely terrible, same is with the Pooja Hegde, she tried all her best to look good but she fails badly. There was no use of Jagpathi Babu there, Sachin Khedekar was decent and he is the only decent performer in the film. I can’t imagine Prabhas acting like this and the Hindi dubbing adds another negative to the film.

Although there is nothing to watch for in the whole film, there are a few sequences which can give you a headache, There is a sequence where Prabhas does the ‘Death Act’, that sequence was the worst part of the film. Now coming to the VFX, the locations were amazing but again the VFX lacks at too many places, I don’t know where those 300 crores are invested. The first 40 minutes of the film is super slow, aimless and it is so dull that you will lose interest at the beginning itself.

The music of the film is great and it is the only thing which makes the film bearable, the song’ Aashiqui Aa Gayi’ is a pure gem and you are going to love the locations in the song.

  • Name Of The Film: Radhe Shyam
  • Release Date: 11th March 2022
  • Cast: Prabhas, Pooja Hegde
  • Rating: 1.5
  • Recommended?: NO

I am going with 1.5 out of 5 stars for the film, The film has nothing to watch for and I will suggest you skip the film even if you are a diehard Prabhas fan, there is nothing to watch in the film and as I said, the film is a 2 Hour long torture. Better to go for ‘Valimai’, Bheelma Nayak, Ganguabai, or The Kashmir Files.
